What this is

Unicorn Embassy is a free, community-first network for founders. We run events and connect people. That is it.

We are not an accelerator, a fund, an agency, a course, or an advisory service. Nothing we publish or say is investment, legal, or professional advice. Make your own decisions and get your own advice when you need it.

Acceptable use

By taking part, you agree to follow our Code of Conduct. It sets out how we expect people to behave in our rooms, chats, and events.

We may remove anyone from events, channels, and the community at our discretion, especially when someone breaks the Code of Conduct.

The site and content are provided "as is"

We provide this website and its content as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the site will always be available, error-free, or up to date, and we do not guarantee that everything on it is accurate.

Use your own judgment on anything you read here.

Events are at your own risk

Our role is to connect people. We do not control what happens at gatherings or between members.

Attending an event or meeting someone through the community is at your own risk. We are not responsible for what people say or do at our events or in conversations that start through us.

Third parties

We may link to other websites and feature businesses run by members or partners. A link or a mention is not an endorsement.

We do not vet, verify, or stand behind third parties. If you do business with someone you met through us, that is between you and them.

Intellectual property and licensing

The name "Unicorn Embassy", our logo, and our brand visual system are ours. All rights reserved. Events and chapters may use the name only with our permission.

Most of the written content we publish to be shared - articles, event recaps, ecosystem maps, frameworks - along with our press photos, is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY 4.0). You can reuse and adapt it, including commercially, as long as you give credit and link back to the original page.

Credit it like this: "Unicorn Embassy - unicornembassy.com (CC BY 4.0)", with the name and URL hyperlinked, and include a link back to the original source page.

The CC BY license does not cover our logo, our brand visual system, or our signature playbooks. Those stay all rights reserved.

Copyright does not cover the name "Unicorn Embassy" - that is a trademark, not a copyrighted work. The mark is not yet registered.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site, attendance at events, or contact with other members.

This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia, and any disputes go to the courts of Yerevan. This is without prejudice to mandatory consumer- and data-protection rights that users have under the law of their country of residence.

Agreement

By submitting a form or joining the community, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or take part in the community.
