Yan Nerovny has spent 8 years building product - starting at 17 in frontend, moving through engineering management, then product, and landing as CPO at a startup. Along the way he led teams at Tinkoff, Russia's largest digital bank, at EPAM, and at the Digital League of Economics. He ships with AI tooling for real, not as a slide.

Unicorn Embassy is the proof of what he does outside a job title. He founded it in 2023 and grew it to 180+ events across 9 cities in 7 countries - Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Spain, Serbia, the UAE, and Indonesia - with 6,000+ participants and zero paid acquisition. 150+ startups have pitched across 50+ sessions. It runs community-first, in English and Russian, as a bridge for post-USSR founders building in emigration.

The two sides reinforce each other. The product background is what makes the community credible; the community is the operating record - building, scaling, and running something across seven countries with no ad budget.

Yan left Russia in 2022 and is based in Yerevan. He's looking for a Head of Product or CPO role in Europe, Paris first.
